Memories fade like looking through a fogged mirror

White shirt from charity shop, dress from H&M, vintage cardigan from H&M, creepers from eBay,
sunglasses from Snoopers Paradise, socks from Topshop, tights idk.

Here are some photos taken in the park yesterday, hope you like :-) I haven't worn this dress in ages and I've had it for forever.. On this day it was really windy, but sunny, yet cold and I wasn't sure how to dress for the weather and ended up still being a bit too chilly for my liking and started to regret not bringing my hoodie. My dip-dyed hair is still here, yet fading gradually, even more so now, which is a little bit sad. I've got a Maths exam tomorrow and I'm freaking out a bit, it's for GCSE again and I'm afraid I'm just going to fail again as my brain will never have the maths bit. I feel it was a complete waste of time retaking my GCSE at college but oh wells, do wish me luck! I have another one on the 13th also. Praying for a miracle here aha.

Seventeenth Birthday Outfit

Vintage jacket from Portobello Market, jumpsuit from New Look,
tights from Romwe.com, creepers from eBay, glittery socks were my mums.

Yesterday was my 17th birthday and the day before this my best friend and I dip-dyed eachothers hair, well, we ended up doing it ourselves. I chose a colour called Tropical Green, it's a semi-permanent and already I feel it starting to fade and some bits are going a murky (still pretty) green colour. Overall I totally love it! Haven't dip-dyed since April 2010 and I'm glad I decided to do it again :-) Makes a change from my usual plain golden blonde hair. Anyway, I had to take pictures for you all to see and whilst doing this on my birthday I made lookbook/blog photos too of my outfit, the creepers were a birthday present that I asked for from my mum and I totally love them, white creepers are just as awesome as black and aren't they smart :D I also looove this velvet vintage jacket I bought off Portobello market for about £6 I think and it's so pretty with red and purple flowers that are outlined with gold, and it's quite puffy at the shoulders... so neat!

I can see through you and I don't get it

On Friday 25th May my best friend and I went up to London to see The Horrors at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London. Before The Horrors came on there were 3 support acts; Toy, Beak and another band that made up of 3 Japanese women who sung hardcore rock in Japanese haha, it was a bit mental! Then the moment I saw Faris Badwan (dude above) I was extremely excited! I had been waiting for this moment a long time! Throughout the gig I was second row and it was so great being that close to them :D I really love the music from The Horrors and hearing it live makes it so much more special. Unfortunately the after party at Brixton Jam was 18+ so we couldn't go to it. The Horrors would of been there again and I'm pretty sure I read Orlando Bloom aswell?! Weird! Sucks we missed out. We'd also stayed after for a bit in the hope of meeting them when they come out for a bit but then we had to leave after about half an hour to get the tube back, but I really hope I will get to meet them another time in the future.

The outfit photos and photo of the union jack flags on Oxford St. were taken the next day. I would post more photos from the gig but they are all just cloudy, this was one of the clearest and I've just quickly went wack with Photoshop and created this montage effect hehe, as you dooo.

Outfit: Sunglasses from Snoopers Paradise, floral top from Jane Norman, velvet shorts from Urban Outfitters, bag from Select (?), fishnet tights from tights shop in Camden, frilly socks from Topshop, creepers from eBay.

As the shadow looms over

Hoodie from Primark, recycled vintage shirt from Portobello Market, vintage Levi shots from Camden, tights from I don't know hehe, knee-high socks from TK Maxx, boots are Dr Martens

Finally I have had the chance to do another outfit post, I had some time to spare the other day before college to snap a few outfit photos in the garden. At one point my camera fell down the fence I was leaning it on and I freaked because I couldn't reach down to get it, I had to grab a nearby stick to reach it out and I'm still to scared to examine my camera for scratches! Oh dear. Anyway, that day I went to college and a few people commented on how nice I looked so I then thought how it was a good job I took photos before hehe. People are always really sweet about what I wear at college and the compliments really make me happy to wear whatever I want as I know people admire and like what I wear, it's very nice! I have only worn this shirt the one time *shameful face*, and that was at my graduation when I left school.. I should really wear it more, but I admit, I did forget about it ... now I'm glad I'm wearing it again.

Here is a photo that was taken of myself and blogger K Is For Kani when I got to meet her on the 14th April last month! She had travelled to London from Australia after becoming a finalist (down from 16) of ASOS Future Stylist 2012, it rounded up to her and another fashion blogger that were competing and the public got to vote who they wanted on ASOS's Facebook. They were in London for about a week and a bit I think, so we arranged to meet up and here we are on Oxford Street! Kani is and has been one of my favourite fashion bloggers for a long time so it was absolutely awesome to meet and spend time with her before she went back to Australia the next day :)
I am proud to say she ended up winning! Read her post here.

I'm not Snow White, but I'm lost inside this forest

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Hey! Here are some fashion photos that I took for my A Level again that I'd like to share with my readers, hope you like them! :) Also sorry I haven't been blogging that much, been so busy with college and everything.. ugh. I need to do a new lookbook post aswell soon. The title of this is a line from the song Wonderland by Natalia Kills - such a great song that I got to experience live once, hehe. In these photos I really wanted to capture pure beauty of the surroundings and natural poses and I'm really happy with the way it turned out :-) Shoot was done on 19/04/2012.

ALLISON HARVARD

If you follow me on Tumblr then you may have realised my slight (ok huge) obsession with Allison Harvard. You can view all my photo posts of her here, (yes there's more than the above!). Let me first start off by saying, this 24 year old beauty is the most perfect creature I have ever come across... She is my definition of perfection. She is my idol, along with the Olsen sisters, of course.

Here is a little bit about her off Wiki;
Allison Elizabeth Harvard (born January 8, 1988) is an American fashion model and internet celebrity. She is best known as the internet sensation "Creepy Chan." She was also the runner-up of the twelfth cycle of America's Next Top Model and the runner-up of America's Next Top Model: All-Stars.

SHE SHOULD HAVE WON! It still upsets me to this day that she didn't, the majority of people who watched the show fell in love with her and wanted her to win too but once again in Cycle 17, she came second due to Tyra's poor, very poor choice. Everyone adored her sweet nature, big blue unique eyes, stunning features, quirky peronality... the list goes on. Allison is also a very talented artist and sells prints with personalised notes with each one written by her lovely self. She's such a gracious, kind & caring person who takes time to reply back to fans! I'll leave you all her links below:

<3 I love her so much, words cannot explain :3
